The embroidery your mom made is very nice. I would think hunting dogs would be a hard collection to add to.

“Dogs lives are too short……….” what a wonderful quote. You are so lucky to find your doggy pieces-Australian Terriers are so rare in USA I never find things- other than the box that Ruby sent me, a darling box with an Aussie cigarette silk.

I love that decanter! I think my parents had some of those. After the booze was gone, you had a great decoration! The embroidered dogs are so wonderful too. What a great keepsake you have from your mother, when she was young!

My first dog -ever- was an english setter named taffy…what a sweet dog she was. Okay a bit hyper but she used to love going out in the yard and pointing at things!
