The Faces of Blue

This is one of my friend’s dogs ~Blue.

No, she is not evil or rabid,

just playing with her “baby sister” Riley,

who is a bit of a pip.

Hard to believe with that show of teeth that no wounds were had,

just lots of romping and dog smiles.

AND I am sure that blue is an innocent bystander antagonized by the puppy antics of Riley.

Or not.

Here’s all three “sisters”.  Riley’s arrival has certainly brought youth back to the other two, especially blue, whether she likes it or not.

This is wonderful. Great photos!! I housesat for two Siberian Huskies who, after coming in from their long walk each day, would play so hard together that you thought they were going to kill each other. They had the best time! No injuries…just two happy dogs.

Reminds of what goes on around here with the kitten and the oldsters!!!! Wonderful shots!

  • 3 Wendy:

aww, that’s so cute! Love the “family portrait”. That’s very cute that they all sat still.

  • 4 Denise:

Lovely action shots of these adorable pups, and that last one is adorable too.

There is nothing more fun then to watch dogs having fun playing with each other. Riley is just darling. My young chihuahua mix has definitely brought out the kid in my old Golden Retriever.

PS. Thank you so much for your kind comment on my ‘Gracie’ post. I am thankful that your ‘Gracie Girl’ is out of the NICU. You must be enjoying your new little grand-daughter :-)

I am so enjoying her Noelle. She is such a blessing! I think new puppies in the family are a good idea when you have a senior dog. It livens them up a bit. I would love to add a pup, but my dog isn’t too nice to other dogs so I think I will just enjoy his immature character. He still acts like a puppy even though he is twelve.

They are cute, Wendy and it is a miracle that I got one good one, in all the others I took, they were all either winking or sticking out a tongue or itching or looking away.

It’s always fun watching dogs play, run, roll and everything!

It’s wonderful to watch dogs playing. Those unfamiliar with them always worry that they’re being vicious but the teeth never make contact with fur though they sometimes clash together rather alarmingly.
It’s true that puppies bring stimulation to older dogs.

We love the last shot where everyone has such big smiles! We play like that with our friends in the neighborhood, too! Have a great week!

There was some down and out teeth baring going on there!

  • 12 Serendipity:

What great shots! Looks like they had such fun!
