Foxgloves still blooming!
Digitalis purpurea grows 2 to 4 ft in height and it blooms June through September, although these are still blooming in October.
Foxglove is a source of digitalis  which is prescribed by doctors to strengthen the heart and regulate the heart beat.  It is also VERY poisonous!   But Beautiful too!   Just goes to show [...]
