Bloomin Tuesday

It’s hard to believe that it is already mid June.Â
Almost the first day of summer.Â
 Things are blooming away here.Â
My vegetables seem to be doing well so far.

Putting in these raised beds makes it so much easier to take care of them. Â
 I have delphiniums in blue,Â
and purple.
There are nasturtiums as well as
Evening Primrose(sun drops),
 lilies,
Â
and Campanula [...]

Bamboo Tomato cages and a quick trellis for our vertical garden

We have been really enjoying the gardening so far this year.
We have had great weather up until the past week or so.Â
We have returned to cold wet weather all this week.Â
I’ts nice for a change, but everything that was parched is now quenched so the sun and warm weather can return now as far as I [...]

Flowers are blooming

away today after yesterday’s soaking rain.Â
My plants seem to have given a sigh of relief now that they have had a good long drenching.Â
We could use even more rain but I keep hoping it doesn’t choose Saturday to give it to us.  I am throwing a baby shower brunch and rain is not invited.Â
 This [...]

Delaware River

My husband and I took a drive last Friday.Â
We stopped along the Delaware River and had a picnic.Â
He is an avid fly fisherman so we stopped to see some of his fishing spots.Â
It was such a pretty place.Â
We saw an eagle’s nest as well as a cow or two.
The purple phlox were everywhere as well [...]

Fertilizer Friday

Â
There are many happy flowers growing in my garden to spite the lack of rain we have had. Â
I am having a baby shower on the twelfth and a graduation party on the 19th so I have been sprucing up the gardens so they can be enjoyed by everyone.
My fear is that  we will get [...]

Pink

Congratulations to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for being featured in the magazine Artful Blogging as well as celebrating two years of Pink Saturday.Â
That’s very impressive.

Things are looking good

This is my favorite time of year.Â
There are so many colors and fragances.

I thought I would give bigger views this week of what’s blooming here.
There’s plenty to see.Â
The bees and the birds have been very busy this week.  It’s nice to see all the activity in the yard.Â
I have a chipmunk in my garden [...]
