It’s hard to believe that it is already mid June.Â
 Almost the first day of summer.Â
 Things are blooming away here.Â
 My vegetables seem to be doing well so far.

  Putting in these raised beds makes it so much easier to take care of them. Â
 I have delphiniums in blue,Â
and purple.
There are nasturtiums as well as
Evening Primrose(sun drops),
 lilies,
Â
and Campanula [...]

This is an amaryllis blooming.  It caught the afternoon light just perfect.  This is one of my favorite photos that I have taken. Â

We have been really enjoying the gardening so far this year.
We have had great weather up until the past week or so.Â
 We have returned to cold wet weather all this week.Â

  We could use even more rain but I keep hoping it doesn’t choose Saturday to give it to us.  I am throwing a baby shower brunch and rain is not invited.Â

My husband and I took a drive last Friday.Â
 We stopped along the Delaware River and had a picnic.Â
 He is an avid fly fisherman so we stopped to see some of his fishing spots.Â
It was such a pretty place.Â
We saw an eagle’s nest as well as a cow or two.

There are many happy flowers growing in my garden to spite the lack of rain we have had. Â
I am having a baby shower on the twelfth and a graduation party on the 19th so I have been sprucing up the gardens so they can be enjoyed by everyone.
