The Faces of Blue

This is one of my friend’s dogs ~Blue.
Â
Â
No, she is not evil or rabid,Â
Â
just playing with her “baby sister” Riley,
Â
Â
who is a bit of a pip.Â
Hard to believe with that show of teeth that no wounds were had,
Â
just lots of romping and dog smiles.
Â
AND I am sure that blue is an innocent bystander [...]

Camera Critters~Lookin Good!

I wanted to take some photos of an old oak mirror I was going to sell on Ebay so I brought it onto our deck, in the sunlight.  My dog, Thunder was mesmerized by it.Â
I am not sure what he was thinking but I think he liked what he saw. Can you blame him?

 I would rather [...]

Camera Critters

These are photos of our English Setter Scooter.  She made such a mess of my potted plants that year.Â
She isn’t alive anymore(~ and it’s not because of her antics in these photos).Â
She lived to be 13.  I found these pictures the other day and it so reminded me of her wonderful brattiness.

 She loved to [...]

Riley and Blue, Camera critters

Meet Riley, she is a terrier mix (half irish terrier and half fox terrier)puppy that friends of ours adopted recently.Â
She is cuddled up with one of their other dogs, Blue who is a border collie mix.  I am not sure how Blue feels about this sleeping arrangement, but Riley looks snug as a bug in [...]

Thunder

is my Camera Critter for today.Â
He is a handsome fellow.Â
There is no denying that.
But sometimes,
 I wonder….
Â
…This could explain alot.

Scout, a cute kitten or a smart cat?

One day, a few years back, while my son, Cam and my nephew, Michael were painting our neighbor’s house, this little guy appeared and followed Michael everywhere.  After several days of this, Mike brought him home since this cute little guy had chosen him.Â
To his disbelief his parents were good with it even though they never thought they [...]

C is for Clematis

When I think about it, it was in my mother in law’s yard, where I realized my love for gardening.  Seeing how happy she was there and the beauty that she created in her little corner of the world was inspiring and I admired her gift of making her home welcoming and warm.   If I were to name [...]

Here’s a few pointers

These are hunting dogs that I photographed for a friend.Â
 * mouse over picture for dog breed
Each one was more than happy to pose
….as long as we released a bird and he got the scent.
  They are amazing dogs instinctually.Â
They get in to the zone and nothing distracts them.  It is really fun to see them work.Â
Having had a [...]

Vintage Thingies Thursday 10/29

Since I have Thunder, an English Setter, I of course am attracted to anything with hunting dogs. Make it vintage and I am especially happy.
This English Setter decanter we found in an antique store while on vacation, several years ago.  I was thrilled to find it.
This first embroidered scene I found on Ebay.Â
This embroidered pointers  [...]
