While visiting Cornell University’s Plantations (which are several different gardens that are open to the public), I photographed this deer in the setting sun. She looks like she is wearing camouflage with the leaves from the tree casting shadows on her.

Gearcor owners, Carol and Pete extended their family with a couple of labrador pups. They were planning on one new dog but ended up bringing them both home.

Cold Ducks

Took a walk down by the river yesterday and was lucky enough to happen upon some ducks. To spite the frigid temperatures they appeared to be enjoying life.

I was happy to take a couple of photos and get back into my warm car. I bet they wished they could do the same,

well… the warm car part anyway.

Bald Eagle

I happened upon this eagle last spring while out in the woods. It was quite a thrill! Such an awesome creature.

The picture at the top is of my Aunt a long time ago( She’s 88 now). I think she is sporting the height of outdoor fashion. That’s her daughter in the car with the silly spotted shorts. That photo always gives me a laugh. I couldn’t stop with just this picture though, not when I have a spotted dog.

Thunder is our English Setter, not a long haired dalmation like many seem to think. There is no such thing as a long haired dalmation. FYI
