Fun in the Snow
There isn’t much scenery around here that isn’t snow covered.
These waves looked more like they should be slapping against the beach instead of drifted in front of my garage.
I sent my son and his best friend out to clear the 3 foot drifts so I could eventually get my car out of the garage. After shoveling it all into a huge pile they then took the time to build an igloo.
There’s nothing like a good snow storm to bring out the kid in everybody. Even teenagers.
My dog liked it too.
That may have had something to do with the cookies they were eating inside there.
The photo with the guys in it shows you just how large it is. I was inside the igloo when I took this shot. It looks like there is not a roof but that is because of the flash.
You can see it a little better here. There is about 4 feet of head room and plenty of space for 4 to 5 people in there. Kind of cozy really, in a wintery kind of way.
Needless to say, my garden is once again frozen in time waiting for spring a bit longer.

Those are some snow drifts. Love the igloo. Ah, to be young again.

that looks like fun!
didn’t think the snow could be as high as this. does it happen only when there is a snow storm or it is a normal thing when it is winter?

The snow that looks like waves also resemble sand dunes in the desert…. ~bangchik

Great shots and looks like the boys were having fun. Even the dog isn’t left out of the fun.

Those snow drifts really do resemble waves and the footprints in the snow look like someone’s been walking on the beach.
