It’s the time of year for shamrocks and the closest I can come is Oxalis which is often referred to as shamrock plants. 

 I love the way these look red eventhough they are actually purple.  The sun shining through the back side gives them a reddish appearance. 

 They are so pretty yet somehow don’t quite fit the bill of the bright green image in my mind when I hear the workd shamrock.

  3. Oxalis are great and so colorful. Had one of those as a potplant outside but… it did not survive. Also had those for houseplants long time ago. Happy St Patrics Day to you!
