Scenic Sunday 11/22
I took this photo in Las Vegas. We were at Red Rock when a storm was brewing. It was quite a contrast to what I see every day. The vegetation and the landscape there is so different from New York.

Wonderful photos from the desert. I like the cactus, I do not see them here in maryland along with the pretty red rocks.

I think I agree with you on what you say between NY and LV, Red Rock landscape they are too opposite ^_^ I like the photo of Red Rock makes me think how come it is red?

I have been out West a couple times, and the red rocks fascinate me. We have red clay soil here – I wonder if we had no trees, is this what my part of the country would look like?Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.
