Scenic Sunday 10/11
“October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.

The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.

Your photos are all wonderful, so pretty it is hard to pick a favorite. The reflection photo is gorgeous and the second photo with the tree by the fence is just awesome. Well done!

Wonderful poems! Perfect for your photos, which are gorgeous. We are not quite as far along as you, but have some spots of great promise showing. Enjoy your beautiful views.

What a terrific bit of prose to go along with the fabulous fall foliage! It made me want to join in the dance!

I heard nothing about Scenic Sunday, but I’m glad I stopped here! Fan-tas-tic! 5th picture from the top is a masterpiece!!!
Thank you Teresa for your comment on my last post. Unfortunately, we don’t have a fence (rules, rules!), so I guess I just need to watch my climbing hydrangeas with pruners in my hand!
Again, the images and the poem are absolutely great!
