I planted some lettuce and snap peas for now. Of course it was the hottest day of the year and with everything else we needed to do in the yard, we were very hot, dirty and tired when we finished.
Sounds like a good day of gardening to me.

I love how you painted your raised beds aqua – one of my favorite colors! My raised bed are just left natural, but I think yours are so much prettier!

Your beds are lovely! I have been using raised beds for four years and am very impressed with how much food can be produced in them. We are in zone 4, so like you we have only planted the frost hardy vegetables.
