Wow! They are BOTH gorgeous! I’ve fallen in with grasses this year–they are very graceful looking. Good luck on the contest!
Wow, both photos are lovely. I headed out today to take some grasses photos….havn’t decided which to enter yet.
They are both very pretty, I really love the one with the sun shining through.
Great photos. The pink plume in the first one is wonderful. What kind/cultivar is it?
No point in me entering. There’s already a winner. YOURS! I love the colors filtering through the light filtering through the textures… Fabulous!
THanks for your kind comments. I am not sure of the kind/cultivar of the grass because it is not one of mine and my research is not a homerun. I think it is pennisetum messiacum or Red Buttons, fountain grass. I wouldn’t bet my life on it though and if anyone knows, please speak up because I wish I was certain. Both photos are of the same type of ornamental grass, if that helps.
What a photo! I love it.
I love your first photo here. Fiberoptic! Definitely not what I imagine when I think of grass!
What an amazing picture! Looking good…
Very beautiful entry. It is so soft. I really like the way the light shines through the second shot, though.
Teresa, I love your photos. This one is gorgeous!
very beautiful…i love having the closeup perspective of the individual grass.
