Outdoor Wednesday

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

To spite the warmish weather we had for the past week or so, we still don’t have a lot of flowers bursting out yet.  web-img_4302

I have a few that are reeeaaallly trying but they aren’t amounting to much. web-img_4305

To spite the clear sunny day, today was only in the fifties with a cool wind.  The winter is not giving up easily around here.    web-img_4306

At least I have a few blooms going on inside. So I will share those in place of my lack luster garden.web-img_4315

My Christmas Cactus is blooming again.  This is the third time since November.  I am amazed.  It must like where I have it.web-img_4150

My narcissus are about done but their shaddow in the late afternoon sun caught my eye.web-img_4153

I hope everyone is enjoying this beginning of Spring.  We have waited a long time and though some of us aren’t quite there, it appears that many others are enjoying beautiful weather and flowers.

~”The March wind roars
Like a lion in the sky,
And makes us shiver
As he passes by.
When winds are soft,
And the days are warm and clear,
Just like a gentle lamb,
Then spring is here.”
