It’s Friday

My forced paper whites have grown so rapidly.  They are already in bloom.  forced paper whites

The flowers are smaller than I expected, although they are very fragrant.  narcissus

They  grew so quickly and are a joy to look at!

I picked up this miniature rose (Kordana Rose) today.  The colors fit the season perfectly and it is so healthy looking, I couldn’t resist.

Actually the real reason aside from the color scheme is that the blooms bring me back to June eventhough it is snowing and blustery outside.

I am hoping your holidays are filled with love, family, friends, fun, good health and everything you are hoping for!

Wouldn’t life be worth the living
Wouldn’t dreams be coming true
If we kept the Christmas spirit
All the whole year through?

I can’t wait for my paperwhites to bloom, they are outside in the garden so it will still be a while!!

Gotta love those mini roses Teresa! I’m amazed how sturdy they are.

I haven’t grown paperwhites (yet,) but I just might have to get some this winter.

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

I like your wreath Teresa! And the plants are like little cheerleaders. Stay warm!

I didn’t force paperwhites this year and now I’m wishing I had after seeing yours budding and just starting to bloom. The wreath of vintage ornaments, in your previous post, is gorgeous! What a grand way to preserve and showcase them.

well I am beginning to think I am the ONLY one who didn’t get around to planting my indoor bulbs this year! Your flowers are all just lovely, and that wreath is very pretty indeed!
I wish you a very happy weekend…and a merry christmas and new year…hope to see lots of you in the new year!

I love paperwhites, but like Darla left them outside. Thanks for sharing yours, I can almost smell them from here!
