It’s Fertilizer Friday!!

We are finally getting some tomatoes in quantity. We harvested a bunch last night as well as peppers and lots of them.

Â
Â
I even found a tiny pumpkin.
Â
There are still quite a few patches of color around the yardÂ
and many flowers to admire as August winds down.
Â
It’s kind of sad to see summer ending, Â but fall brings color of it’s own, crisp cool apples as well as crisp cool nights.
go on over to Tootsie’s and see what everyone else has going on in their gardens.
Enjoy your last few days of August!

OMG!!! your garden is gorgeous!!! My setting of choice on my camera is the foliage one. I also like to take my photos after the sun is off the garden…when it is almost dusk…the colors look like they are electric!
I love that garden by the fence…I have always wanted one. I am asking you if you mind if I save a couple of photos from this post to use as inspiration!!!??? I promise not to use them for anything else…lol

I am so jealous! All those lovely ripe tomatoes! That little pumpkin is cute too; and yes, you certain do have “some” splashed of colour “left.” It looks amazing.

The photo of the tomato is so lovely ~ it looks like I could pick it thru the monitor screen! and the tomatoes and peppers in the basket look like something a professional food prop person would put together. Great job! Your garden truly is still vibrant.

Teresa, lucky you with that nice tomato/pepper harvest. I had enough tomatoes for just a few salads..hopefully, more fruit to come before the cold sets in. The markings on that pink hibiscus is unique! Cute little pumpkin, too

Hi Teresa~~ I like this WordPress template. Your gardens are fabulous and it looks like you have an equally beautiful home. Summer is still in full swing here and will be–hopefully–until the end of September. … Interesting markings on the Hibiscus flower and the Digitalis. … Your tomatoes: YUM!

Your yard inspires envy. I love the back fence and the fire pit with the natural stone warms my heart.

Everything is looking so pretty at your place. Oh, how I wish my pathetic looking pumpkin plant would have a tiny little pumpkin like yours.

Hi Teresa, your harvest is just beautiful. Aren’t tomatoes and peppers so photogenic, as pretty as flowers. Your gardens are wonderful, I love those rock walls in semicircles along the sidewalk. Paradise!

I have tomato envy as well, only my cherry tomatos have ripened so far, and only in miserly quantities. The rain has made my tomato plants very, very, tall but not many blossoms on. There are a few on the larger fruit, but it will not be a good year for me.
