Insided that is.
I bought myself a bouquet of alstroemeria at the grocery store.
My Christmas Cactus started blooming again.
My miniature rose is still blooming although some of the flowers are ready to drop.
I have to buy a Cyclamen every January because I get so used to all that Christmas color and after you put it all away~ a Cyclamen brings color back in to the house. They always feel like an after christmas pick me up.

Lovely post, Teresa! I successfully planted outside a miniature rose my son gave me a couple of years ago. i planted it after the last frost, and completely covered it in mulch before the first frost in the fall. I hope it survives another winter. Congratulations on having your son’s dog, Fred, featured on Camera Critters! Stay warm! Pam x

Hi Teresa,
Your blooming plants certainly brighten up a winter’s day. We had alstroemeria in our wedding. They are beautiful.

Love the cyclamen, Teresa and hooray for the small plant department at the grocers! We buy things from there as well, it is hard to resist the colors and it is right inside the door so everyone has to walk by. Most recent purchases, primroses that will be planted in the ground in spring to return each year, we hope!

I didn’t realize Christmas cactus would bloom for so long or bloom twice.

ooooh, my faves. I may add a cyclamen to the shopping list as well! I love those dark colors. I have alstroemeria in the garden. It’s a yellow though. I never tire of them and their speckled cheerfulness.
