Isn't it wonderful how gardening can "take us away" in thought! Love that.

Raji,
Thanks for visiting, You sound like a kindred spirit. I am sure most don't get my play on words with my last name, Soule, shoes, sole and plain old- soul.

" In my garden today, I pruned, dead headed, fertilized, transplanted, watered and admired. After a few hours of trimming, edging, and all of the other things I mentioned, my back ached and my hands felt cramped, but my heart was full and my brain completely entertained with the beauty and calmness that a garden bw-purpleprings."
Apologies for quoting all the above. The reason is I can not tell you how much I could relate myself to what you have written in this post..each word, each sentence...well written...
the first time I saw your blog, I thought it was 'Gardening with Soul'..then I read about you and came to know that it's your last name.

Beautiful things going on in your garden! I love what you said about gardening. I think it is one of the few things you can do where you can be fully present and still be daydreaming about other things. The daydreaming is often part of the fun and relaxation of gardening. I suppose fishing is probably the same way. Sounds like you and your husband have it figured out!

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
