Here’s a few pointers
These are hunting dogs that I photographed for a friend.
* mouse over picture for dog breed
Each one was more than happy to pose
….as long as we released a bird and he got the scent.
They are amazing dogs instinctually.
They get in to the zone and nothing distracts them. It is really fun to see them work.
Having had a German Short Hair, Spot~ who was the biggest sweetheart ever,

then two English Setters, Scooter and Thunder,
I can honestly say that these are wonderful dogs to have in your family. They are loving and loyal, and fun to be with, not to mention good to look at.

What great photos of hunting dogs. I love the English pointer in the tall dry grass. Hunting dogs do indeed make wonderful pets. I still miss my Brittany, the sweetest dog I’ve ever had.

We had an English setter in our family for fourteen years. My boys grew up with her. She was black and white, like those in your pics, and my heart went out when I saw them. She was very smart, gentle, and the most stubborn animal we have ever owned.
