Bloomin Tuesday
It’s hard to believe that it is already mid June.
Almost the first day of summer.

Things are blooming away here.
My vegetables seem to be doing well so far.
Putting in these raised beds makes it so much easier to take care of them.
I have delphiniums in blue,
and purple.
There are nasturtiums as well as
Evening Primrose(sun drops),
lilies,

Love your red metal chairs Teresa … you have given me an idea for my rusty ones, but I think green would work better here. Your photos are great … I love the Campanula cherry bells! Beautiful photos!

Your veggies look very healthy, especially those lettuces. Makes me want to have a salad right now — for breakfast. The Alaska series of nasturtiums is my favourite, I think, because of the lovely variegated foliage. Which reminds me, I have nasturtium seeds that I’d better plant asap or I’ll be too late. Thanks for the reminder! Happy blooms day.

I am in awe of your clematis!! Mine are new and I understand that it takes a couple of years to get what you have…. I’m waiting. In doing the concrete around the firepit…. Did you just take odd hunks of concrete and piece them together? Is that a moss growing in between them? Love how neat and weedfree your vegetables are
June 19th, 2010 at: 1:29 am
Judi, Those are actually pieces of slate or stone that I made the patio with. There is some moss growing between but mostly it’s grass that I planted there. I just have to weed wack it once a week to keep it in check. My climatis is about 3 years old so it is putting on a great show for me this year. They like the sun but keep their roots cool with another plant like hostas or lilies. Thanks for visiting

Very nice garden setup. I can see you at sitting on the chair in the middle of your garden enjoying the sight. Specially when those vegetables starts to bear fruits for your table. Congratulations for a job well done on your garden.
