aster-blossom

Hard to believe but it is already the middle of July.

My gardens have filled out quite nicely even though it has been a very cool, wet summer for us in Upstate NY.

Go and Visit May Dreams Gardens to see other Garden Blogger’s Blooms.

“No bought potpourri is so pleasant as that made from ones own garden, for the petals of the flowers
one has gathered at home hold the sunshine and memories of summer, and of past summers
only the sunny days should be remembered.”

  1. My word your gardens are beautiful. YOur close up photos capture the colors so well.

  2. I love the photo of the foxglove. It is one of my favorite flowers.

  3. Your gardens are most beautiful. I love the long shots. They really show a garden and yours is most neat and perfect. Especially the vegetable garden and wow on all the squash. The impatiens around the tree in front is also very nice.

  4. Thanks Tina, It’s not so organized if you look closely. More of an organized kaos. But I do love it.

  5. So many pretty blooms! I’m jealous of your foxgloves, I haven’t managed to grow any yet, despite trying.

What are the fluffy pink and purple ones?

  6. Those are asters. I am thrilled to see the foxgloves bloom!

  7. You have some of the best bloom pictures that I have seen so far. Amazing! That first picture is great — reminds me of Little Shop of Horrors :)
