Friday is Blooming, inside anyway
Since there is a blizzard going on outside, my indoors blooms will have to do.
I have an African Violet just starting to bloom. I am so happy about that. My grandmother would have been happy to see those flowers. She loved African Violets.
Then I have a Haworthia.(Thanks Mr. Brown Thumb!)

It’s texture is fascinating to me. So spiny and sharp yet attractive in it’s own way.
My best blooms right now are my iris flowers. I posted about them a few days ago, but I never tire of their beauty.

Beautiful iris. African violets are really unusual with those velvery leaves… The aloe is looking great.

Teresa,
Your small Aloe Vera is actually a nice-sized Haworthia.
How long is the content open? I won’t have signs of spring outdoors for a couple of weeks. I’ll post it to the garden bloggers Facebook page and to my Twitter account.

The drawing is open until the first day of spring, March 21st. Thanks for spreading the good news! You will get an extra chance at winning for that~ If someone posts it on their blog or posts our banner they get an extra “name in the hat”. We know that spring isn’t everywhere so use a picture you already have if you want. We are not judging photos it’s just for fun to see where spring is springing and give us light at the end of the tunnel. It will be a random drawing from all the entries. Again Thanks for the plant info!

Your flowers sure look bright and colorful. Love your Haworthia – it just looks so nice and dark green and healthy. I haven’t had much luck with African Violets but my Mother sure has gobs of them that do well. Now Irises I can grow and they do well. Yours look great!
