Fertilizer Friday
It is still friday, so I hope I am not to late to participate in the fun of Fertilizer Friday. (Thanks to Tootsie) Today was very busy, I worked on my stone patio, before the rain, during the rain and after the rain. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Otherwise it will never be finished. The flowers are all happy with t
he daily rain, although I am not. The mushrooms are having a party under my black locust tree, but I took care of that today. All in all things are filling in and looking good for the 4th of July.

Weather is a great metaphor for life – sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad, and there’s nothing much you can do about it but carry an umbrella. ~Pepper Giardino

Yeah, I agree, your photos are awesome. So clear! I love your lilies.
I work full time and most of my computer time is limited to late at night. So, I cheat and do my pictures on Thursday for Fertilizer Friday. Sometimes I fertilize on Thursday; sometimes I fertilize on Friday. I figure I *am* doing it, just not in the right order. Otherwise I would be posting my Fertilizer Friday stuff when it is technically Saturday for most of the world. shhh … don’t tell Tootsie
The important thing is we’re having fun and getting those blooms fertilized too!

Thanks tootsie, I do love photography and flowers are such agreeable subjects. I saw that you too had the grass between the rocks. It looks really great, I know what you mean about the weed wacking. I like that look but it does require lots of wacking and it goes through the string like its nothing. Oh well, what’s a little more work?

Teresa, your photos are wonderful…as is your garden;-) I love all of your blooms…sorry you’re getting so much rain! Sometimes you just have to work in the rain, or it won’t get done! 10 yrs. ago I dug out the grass on the entire side of our house and planted gardens…and I did it during a continuous period of rain. It was actually easier because the ground was wet. I didn’t mind being soaked and muddy! Now, I can’t do that anymore–age has been leaving it’s mark on me;-( Hang in there, your garden’s looking great!

Hi Tes,
I know what you mean about rain … it’s been raining in our area almost every afternoon for two weeks!
All your flowers are a delight! I have lilies too but deer ate their buds before they had a chance to bloom.
