crazy squirrels
There isn’t much outdoors to look at except dreary skies and occasional spits of snow or rain. Really a yucky day. But, I just put a bird feeder on my window so that I can enjoy seeing the birds while I type away at my computer. I also put a couple of seed bells in the pine tree that overhangs my porch, with a bit of peanut butter just to attract the birds so they will find the feeder.
There have been no birds as of yet but the sqirrels have been having a hay day. They have kept me mildly entertained with their antics.
Within two days they have devoured two bells and all the peanut butter.
This guy got tired of sucking the peanut butter so he just took the branch with him for later
.
Luckily they can’t get to the window feeder because it is suctioned to the glass in the middle of the window so there is no ledge to sit on.
They will probably figure out a way though.
I can’t believe how well they can hang on with their back toes and hang upside down while eating.
Clowns, the lot of them.

You did very well capturing all those neat shots of the squirrels. I have a lot in my yard, but they dig too many holes in it.

The squirrelsare so cute. Excellent photos. Did you take the photos through the window?
What type of camera do you use for these excellent ,clear close-up shots?I dropped my camera yesterday, it was a digital Canon powershot 520, using a Sandisk, still have some photos to download.
Thanks for visiting my blog for Ruby Tuesday and leaving a comment. There is a name fro the style of dancing that the Indian woman did,but I can’t recall.

Yes, Grace,
I did take them through the window with a canon rebel T1i. That’s why they aren’t super crisp.

Squirrely little rodents! Squirrels are such fun to watch, even though they can eat the bluebird diner’s cupboard bare. My favorite photo was the upside squirrel gobbling up goodies.
