Birdhouses, Birdfeeders

birdhouse

image14644464birdhouse     If there is one thing I have learned from blogging, it’s that gardeners love to watch birds.

Most -anyway. They seem to go hand in hand.

Here are the birdhouses now available at Garden Shoes Online.

I have my house ready for a bird to move in.   I have never been lucky with such things.  I will be thrilled if somebird decides to call it home.

There are also bird feeders.  These are a bit easier to attract the birds with.  It’s the food thing…

I can appreciate that.

~To me, the garden is a doorway to other worlds; one of them,
of course, is the world of birds.  The garden is their dinner table, bursting with bugs and worms and succulent berries.-  Anne Raver

~There are 8,600 species of birds in the world today.  They are found everywhere.  Birds play a vital role in the balance of nature. They eat insects, pests and small animals.  Fruit eating birds are
best for scattering seeds for these plants.  Seed eating birds digest seeds and in so doing keep millions of weeds from the earth….~ UC Davi

 *  Our feeders and houses are made from exterior grade ply board, kiln dried hardwood & non toxic exterior grade paint.  The rooves are made of galvanized steel & screwed to the wood for greater reinforcement. The feeder has 4 feeding stations plus a perch. The clear plastic reservoir windows keep the feed level visible at all times and can be removed for convenient cleaning. Filling your feeder is simple, just lift up the roof and allow the seed to fill  the house.
