My amaryllis is getting ready to bloom.
I can hardly wait to see it’s beauty.
It shouldn’t be too much longer.

Congrats!
Do you know what it is? Was it one of the simple ones or an expensive hybrid?

You don’t think I saved the package long enough to write down the name? That would have been the logical thing but Heaven knows I did forget. I will identify it as soon as it blooms….I hope.

Oh, lucky you! I don’t have an amaryllis this year – maybe I’ll go to the garden centre today and see if there are any on sale that didn’t get sold over Christmas!
You have twin stems too! What colour will it be, I wonder?

The speed at which amaryllis fly to bloom amazes me. Love the photo of the stem and shadow. I, too, want to see the gorgeous blooms and hope you post photos.

I like the way you played with the sinuous forms and shadows Teresa. You will be sharing the blooms with us I hope.
